GYTSH optical cable consists of Optical fibers which are protected by loose tubes. Loose tubes are made of high modulus plastic and filled with compound to protect the optical fibers. Loose tubes (and filler rod) are stranded around the single metallic central strength member to form a compact and circular cable core, and the gap in the cable core is fully filled with water blocking compound. The water blocking gel filled core design provides the cable excellent water-proof performance and moisture-resistance. Double sided coated steel tape bonded low smoke halogen-free flame retardant polyolefin sheath. The steel tape longitudinally wrapped cable core provides better moisture resistance for optical cables and has the ability to prevent gunshot and rodent damage.
