
GYTA optical cable with color stripes consists of single-mode or multimode optical fibers which are protected by loose tubes. Loose tubes are made of high modulus plastic and filled with compound to protect the optical fibers. Loose tubes (and filler rod) are stranded around the single metallic central strength member to form a compact and circular cable core, and the gap in the cable core is fully filled with water blocking compound. Polyethylene sheath with color stripes is extruded after longitudinal wrapping of aluminum-plastic composite tape which provides the cable property of moisture resistance.
