Futong Project of Fully Integrated Value Chain of Optical Communication were Ready for Production in Jiashan
On January 21, 2020, Futong Jiashan project of fully integrated value chain of optical communication were ready for production, the ceremony was held in the factory of Futong Group (Jiashan) Communication Technology Co., Ltd.
This project aimed to build a super large intelligent manufacturing demonstration factory of fully integrated value chain of optical communication with the largest single scale in the world. This project integrated optical fiber preform, optical fiber, fiber cable and supporting materials to be a super scale fully integrated value chain of optical communication factory with total investment about 5 billion Yuan. After the project was completed, the annual sales would exceed 10 billion Yuan, which would greatly improve the overall competitiveness of optical communication industry in China
The project integrated all production elements with process of optical fiber preform, optical fiber and optical cable manufacturing as the core, together with supporting raw and auxiliary materials production functions to form an integrated advantage.
During the project construction, the company would actively explore a new mode of "digitalization, networking, and intelligence" to achieve intelligent production management such as automated production, intelligent warehousing, and intelligent logistics by equipment networking through information system. It would realize “no logistics, no stock” by seamless connect of raw material supply between pipelines and processes to build the largest optical communication intelligent manufacturing demonstration plant and promote the construction of scientific development demonstration sites in Jiashan County as well as accumulate experience for exploring the block economy and industrial transformation and upgrading in Zhejiang County.
Mr. Wang Jianyi, Chairman of Futong Group, introduced the project that the equipment installation and commissioning of the project have been completed and the optical cables are ready for production, the construction of the optical fiber preform factory and the optical fiber factory have been basically completed. It was estimated that Futong Jiashan project of fully integrated value chain of optical communication will be fully completed by the end of 2019, and it was planned to be fully put into production in the first quarter of 2020. In addition, the supporting power guarantee facilities and public supporting facilities for the project had also been completed and entered the normal operation stage.
The project innovation combines the intermediate links of production, process and equipment by the new organization and layout of process, which not only reduces the manufacturing cost, but also forms a cluster advantage. Locating in the Jiaxing Free Trade Zone and following “Belt and Road” strategy, the project will address both the market in the domestic and the worldwide.
