
GDS type photoelectric hybrid cable is to put the optical fiber into a loose tube made of high modulus polyester material, and the tube is filled with waterproof material. The center of the cable core is a metallic strength member. For some optical cables with a certain number of cores, a layer of polyethylene needs to be extruded outside the metal reinforced core. Loose tubes and insulated copper conductors of required specifications are twisted around the central reinforcing core to form a compact circular cable core.
