
GYFA53 optical cable consists of single-mode or multimode optical fibers which are protected by loose tubes. Loose tubes are made of high modulus plastic and filled with compound to protect the optical fibers. Loose tubes (and filler rod) are stranded around the single non-metallic central strength member to form a compact and circular cable core, and the gap outside the strength member and inside the cable core is fully filled with dry water blocking yarn and tape. Double sided plastic coated aluminum tape polyethylene bonded inner sheath, double sided plastic coated steel tape polyethylene bonded outer sheath.
